Dreams Botswana speaks to the Africa Youth Game team kata gold medallists, Tshepo Baumake, Leonard Modise and Philippe Revaka about what it takes to be a champion.

All three champions spoke about hard work and determination. Tshepo Baumake stressed the importance of being patient; Leonard Modise said to be a champion one has to have guts; whilst Philippe Revaka said love of the sport was important.

They have great dreams for the future. Winning a gold medal at a World Karate Federation (WKF) is one of their dreams!

Dreams also spoke to their coach, Shihan Mpho Bakwadi, on what it takes to train champions. Shihan pointed out that commitment, dedication and patience are key.
